Financial Accountant | International Retail | Permanent | London | Hybrid 3 days per week | £48,000 - £50,000 + 5% Bonus |

JasperRose are working with a fashion brand to find a Financial Accountant to support the financial accounting and compliance requirements across their international operations. Reporting to the Head of International and Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of statutory reporting, VAT compliance, tax submissions, sustainability reporting, and other regulatory obligations across the territories in which the business operates.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical financial accounting skills who wants exposure to a genuinely international remit, working closely with both internal teams and external advisors with a clear view on progression.

The Role

• Managing statutory compliance requirements across international territories
\n
• Preparing and coordinating financial statements and tax submissions
\n
• Working closely with external advisors and local compliance providers
\n
• Reconciling local statutory accounts to internal management accounts, investigating and resolving differences where required
\n
• Preparing and submitting international VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations and identifying opportunities to optimise VAT recovery
\n
• Monitoring VAT, customs, and supply chain developments impacting international operations
\n
• Getting involved in project work to improve processes, controls, and reporting within the international finance function
\n
• Building strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners
\n

What we’re looking for:

\n
• Part-qualified accountant or finalist
\n
• Background in practice or industry is welcome; strong financial accounting experience is key
\n
• International exposure is important - ideally multi-currency experience with exposure to USD
\n
• Exposure to US/UK GAAP is highly desirable
\n
• Comfortable working across systems - Business Central experience is beneficial
\n
• A confident communicator, comfortable building relationships with stakeholders across international finance, wider finance, and non-finance teams
\n
• Proactive and solutions-focused, able to demonstrate ambition and innovation - someone looking to drive efficiencies and new processes rather than maintain the status quo

• Ready to hit the ground running, with the confidence to get stuck into an international remit from day one
