- Hours: 30-40 per week, 08:00-17:00, occasional evening work \n
- Salary: £15 per hour \n

\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Work under the guidance of Sous Chefs to prepare and cook pre-agreed dishes and deliver daily menus set by the Head Chef. \n
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the kitchen, preparing in advance to open venues on time. \n
- Follow recipes, presentation guidelines, and menus to ensure safe food handling, accurate margin control, and consistently high-quality food. \n
- Engage with guests to discuss menu dishes, providing information on dietary and allergen concerns. \n
- Train, coach, and motivate junior team members and apprentices, encouraging their progression. \n
- Manage stock levels and ensure venues are prepped and stocked for trading. \n
- Maintain food safety standards and allergen handling processes, ensuring compliance with the company’s Food Safety Management System. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in the Hospitality Industry, particularly in large-scale, fast-paced kitchen environments. \n
- Food Hygiene certification level 2/3. \n
- Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety. \n
- Ability to operate under pressure, manage junior staff, and maintain high culinary standards. \n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. \n
