Job Title: Procurement ManagerType: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months)Location: BathSalary: £24,000 per annum (£40,000 FTE)Hours: 22.5 hours per week BRC are working closely with a well-established charity to recruit a Procurement Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead procurement activity, drive value for money and ensure high-quality contract management across a diverse range of services. This role involves leading the full procurement lifecycle, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation, and supporting the organisation in delivering efficient, ethical and cost-effective procurement solutions. Duties:\n

- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement and tendering activities. \n
- Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and all relevant procurement regulations. \n
- Develop tender specifications and procurement documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders. \n
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance across a varied portfolio. \n
- Maintain and oversee procurement systems and the contracts register. \n
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and deliver greater value for money. \n
- Ensure procurement activities support ethical, sustainable and local sourcing priorities. \n
- Maintain accurate procurement records and provide reporting where required. \n

- CIPS Level 4 qualification (minimum). \n
- Previous experience within public sector procurement. \n
- Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and the full procurement lifecycle. \n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex documentation. \n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. \n
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills. \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. \n
