Children's Senior Social Worker- CP

Our Client, a Yorkshire council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CP Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Managing cases from referral to closure, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
\n
• Completing Child and Family Assessments to identify needs, risks, and appropriate support plans.
\n
• Managing and reviewing Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
\n
• Undertaking comprehensive Pre-Birth Assessments and planning interventions to safeguard unborn children.
\n
• Progressing cases through the Public Law Outline (PLO) process where threshold is met.
\n
• Preparing evidence-based assessments, court statements, and reports for legal proceedings.
\n
• Initiating and managing care proceedings in partnership with legal services and multi-agency professionals.
\n
• Chairing and participating in professional meetings, strategy discussions, and legal planning meetings as required.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case recordings in accordance with statutory requirements and organisational standards.
\n
• Working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
\n
