Trainee Sales Executive

Business Development Executive, Mitcheldean, £24,500 + bonus

Monday to Friday 9am, - 5pm - 4 days office/1 day home working

Are you a confident communicator looking for a step into a rewarding professional career in sales?

We are looking for ambitious individuals to join the New Customer Team. You do not need a background in sales to apply. Full training will be provided to help you build the skills you need to succeed.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential business customers. You will work closely with the Business Development Managers to research prospective clients, start conversations, and book appointments.

• Speak directly with business owners and key decision makers
\n
• Build rapport and establish positive professional relationships over the phone, email, and LinkedIn
\n
• Follow up on inbound queries and research potential business opportunities
\n
• Qualify leads and hand them over to our senior team to help close deals
\n
• Keep accurate notes in our customer database system (Hub-spot)
\n

What we are looking for

Background and prior experience are not important to us, as full training is provided. However, you should have the following qualities:

• Strong verbal communication skills and the confidence to pick up the phone
\n
• Ability to speak professionally and build rapport with business leaders
\n
• A positive, proactive attitude and a strong drive to achieve results
\n
• Willingness to learn, take on feedback, and develop new skills
\n
• Basic computer literacy and good organizational skills
\n

Previous telephone experience (such as customer service, call handling, or retail communications) is useful, but your communication ability and enthusiasm are what matter most.
