Children's Social Worker - CWD

Our Client, a Yorkshire council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CWD Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, undertaking assessments, reviews and care planning in line with statutory requirements.
\n
• Work closely with children, families and partner agencies to safeguard children, promote positive outcomes and provide appropriate support.
\n
• Complete Child in Need, Child Protection and Care Proceedings work where required, ensuring all assessments and plans are child-focused.
\n
• Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, reviews and conferences, providing professional advice and recommendations.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely case records, reports and statutory documentation in accordance with legislation and local procedures.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
\n
