Stores Person (Counterbalance FLT Opertor) - Grangemouth

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our well-established client based in Grangemouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing and distribution business specialising in the supply of pipes and pipe fittings.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay:

Shift Pattern:

As a Stores Person, you will work:

\n
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
\n
• Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Stores Person are:

\n
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move stock safely
\n
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
\n
• Booking goods in and checking deliveries against paperwork
\n
• Storing pipes, pipe fittings and associated products within the warehouse
\n
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
\n
• Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Stores Person, you will need:

\n
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
\n
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or stores environment
\n
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to work
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be advantageous but is not essential
\n
