Responsibilities as Chartered Structural Engineer:\n
\n

\n
• Producing structural calculations and design documentation for a range of structures
  \n including RC frames, steel frames, masonry, timber and hybrid systems.
\n
• Carrying out analysis using industrysoftware (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, GSA,
  \n ETABS, Robot Structural Analysis or equivalent).
\n
• Managing design developmentfrom concept to construction.
\n
• Undertaking structural assessments, surveys and reports for existingbuildings including
  \n condition surveys and load- bearing investigations.
\n
• Acting as a primary technical point of contact for clients.
\n
• Coordinating with Architects, M&E Engineers and Planning Consultants to deliver
  \n coordinated designs.
\n
• Attending design team meetings, site visits and client presentations.
\n
• Acting as a named Designer under CDM 2015 regulations fulfillingall associated duties.
\n
• Supervising work produced by Graduate and Technician - level staff.
\n

Were looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer with:\n
\n

\n
• Extensive post graduate experience in Structural Design within a UK consultancy
  \n environment.
\n
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in managing projects unsupervised.
\n
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software, strong hand calculation skills.
\n
• Abilityto use Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Robot, GSA or similar.
\n
• Proficient in TEDDS or similar calculation management software.
\n
• Experience of site visits and inspections.
\n
• Must be a UK resident.
\n
• Excellent English and communication skills. Must be confident in meeting and presenting to
  \n clients.
\n

Desirable:\n
\n

\n
• Experience in Temporary Works design or coordination to BS 5975.
\n
• Working knowledge of SuDS and surface water drainage design.
\n
• BIM /Revit experience or familiarity with a BIM Level 2 environment.
\n
