Labourer - Confined Space

We are currently looking for 2 Site Operatives / Labourers for a civil engineering project in PO6, Portsmouth, starting next week.

\n ?? Day shifts
\n ?? Weekly pay
\n ?? No CIS

Duties will include:

\n
• General labouring duties
\n
• Moving and distributing materials
\n
• Assisting engineers and site operatives
\n
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
\n
• Working within a tunnel environment
\n
• Use of walkie-talkies to communicate with the surface team
\n
• Working alongside a tripod and rescue setup
\n
• Following confined space procedures and site safety protocols
\n

Requirements:
\n ? Valid CSCS Card
\n ? Confined Space qualification (Medium or High Risk)
\n ? Previous construction or civils experience
\n ? Good understanding of site health & safety
\n ? Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Important: The tunnel itself is not particularly narrow; however, due to there being only one point of access and egress, the work is classed as a confined space environment. Suitable training or experience working in confined spaces is therefore required.

This is a great opportunity for operatives with civils, utilities, tunnelling, drainage or underground services experience.
