\nThe Staffing Network is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Fareham\n
\nThis role offers various shift patterns & Ad-hoc work with various start times available.\n
\nYour Time at Work\n
\nAs an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:\n
\n- Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers\n
\n- Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)\n
\n- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness\n
\n- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements\n
\nYou will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.\n
\nApplicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation\n
\nYou should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.\n
