Are you an experienced HLTA looking for new opportunities in Birmingham?
\nWinner Education are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable HLTA to join our friendly Special Needs school in Sandwell. This is a temporary, full-time position, to startin September on a long term placement. You must have a HLTA qualification or have experience of being an unqualified teacher within Special Educational Needs.
\nDuties and Responsibilities:
\nProvide 1:1 support to pupils with severe SEN requirements
\nLesson planning
\nDeliver engaging and adaptable lessons
\nTailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
\nAssist with pupil progress reports
\nLiaise with outside agencies when required
\nWork with children across KS3 ages
\nThe successful HLTA will have:
\nExperience working with children with SEN
\nA relevant HLTA qualification
\nConfidence and adaptability
\nDBS on the update service
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to motivate and inspire young learners
\nAn understanding of safeguarding and child protection
