HGV Driver

Salary: £43,000+Location: CardiffShift Pattern: Flexible (Including Weekends)

An established and growing national organisation is looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class C Driver to join its Transport team based in Cardiff.

As an HGV Class C Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled delivery and collection routes, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently and on time while delivering a high standard of customer service.

• Completing daily delivery and collection routes.
\n
• Loading and unloading goods where required.
\n
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
\n
• Obtaining customer signatures and completing delivery documentation.
\n
• Liaising with customers in a professional manner.
\n
• Maintaining regular communication with the Transport team.
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all driving regulations and company procedures.
\n

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within a customer-facing, multi-drop HGV driving role and enjoy delivering excellent service.

• Class C (Category C) Driving Licence.
\n
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Previous HGV driving experience.
\n
• Good communication and customer service skills.
\n
• Flexible approach to working hours.
\n
• Willingness to work weekends as required.
\n

• Flexible shift patterns.
\n
• Start times between 3:00am and 12:00pm, depending on operational requirements.
\n
• Weekend working required on a rota basis.
\n
