Finance Manager

Reed Finance is working in partnership with a Glasgow based organisation to recruit a Finance Manager to join their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and people focused accountant to step into a leadership role with broad exposure across the business.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day running of the accounting function, ensuring financial information is accurate, compliant and delivered on time. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll lead multiple teams, drive improvements in processes and controls and play a key part in supporting wider business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
\n
• Ensure all reporting is delivered in line with UK accounting standards and internal deadlines
\n
• Lead and develop a multi-level finance team, including Management Accountants and Finance staff
\n
• Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls across the function
\n
• Develop, refine and document accounting policies and procedures
\n
• Support the budgeting and reforecasting cycles
\n
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems and reporting capabilities
\n

About You

\n
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
\n
• Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP
\n
• Proven experience within a similar accounting role, including team leadership
\n
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
\n
