Our client is a growing business based in Maidenhead with an expanding portfolio and an excellent reputation for developing its people. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance team.

The Role

\n

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with operational teams to provide commercial financial support and influence key business decision.
  • \n
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and financial appraisals
  • \n
  • lMonitor financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities while providing meaningful recommendations.
  • \n
  • Produce accurate management information and support monthly reporting and business planning.
  • \n
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • \n
  • Support tax, audit and wider compliance requirements.
  • \n
  • Review project costs, profitability and business performance through insightful analysis.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships across the business, presenting financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvements across finance processes, reporting and systems.
  • \n
  • Support and mentor junior finance team members while contributing to wider finance initiatives.
  • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
  • \n
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledge.
  • \n
  • A proactive, commercially focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Experience within property, construction or another project-based environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
