We are currently recruiting for our client, a freight forwarding company based in Basildon.

The job role will be on the job training to achieve the below:
\n
• Learning how to use our operating system, leading to assisting the department in booking in shipments
\n
• Learning to communicate with customers both in the UK and overseas
\n
• Quoting customers for shipping
\n
• Arranging collections using 3rd party hauliers
\n
• Supporting the office / management with day-to-day tasks
\n
Skills we are looking for:
\n
• Someone who is able to navigate Outlook – creating polite and efficient emails, handling attachments etc.
\n
• Someone who is has a basic knowledge of excel sheets, using the internet to source information etc.
\n
• Desirable attributes: organised nature, able to multi task, strong attention to detail
\n
• Keen to lean different aspects of shipping and logistics
