We are delighted to be recruiting for a Part-Qualified Accountant (Practice)/Business Services Semi-Senior to join a growing Business Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio while receiving full support towards your professional qualifications and long-term career development. Working closely with experienced managers and senior team members, you'll be involved in year-end accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT returns and a variety of client-facing responsibilities, helping businesses across a range of sectors achieve their financial goals.\n

- Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients under FRS102 (1A) and FRS105. \n
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting. \n
- Complete and submit VAT returns accurately and on time. \n
- Support managers in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. \n
- Build strong professional relationships with clients and respond to information requests. \n
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures. \n
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and industry developments. \n
- Work collaboratively across the Business Services team to meet client deadlines. \n
- Maintain accurate records, timesheets and work documentation. \n
- Gain exposure to wider service lines across the practice. \n

- Prior experience within an accountancy practice environment. \n
- AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified (or finalist). \n
- A genuine desire to continue studying towards a professional accountancy qualification. \n
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. \n
- Effective time management and organisational skills. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. \n
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. \n
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. \n
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. \n
- Knowledge of Xero and IRIS would be highly advantageous. \n
