Reed Accountancy are partnering with a repeat client of ours, who are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Manager to join their South Oxfordshire team. This role involves the efficient and timely preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns and journals, whilst ensuring the smooth operation of their Accounts Team.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Coordinate the Accounts function, including line management of the team.
\n
• Produce monthly accounts for internal purposes.
\n
• Carry out monthly payroll review and payments.
\n
• Provide information to Company Accountants for quarterly VAT returns and management accounts.
\n
• Handle month-end journals, reports, and reconciliations.
\n
• Oversee credit control.
\n
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required by the Senior Leadership Team.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Thoroughness, with a keen eye for detail.
\n
• Comfortable with reviewing financial data.
\n
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
\n
• Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
\n
• Excellent communication and social skills.
\n
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
\n
