Job Description
As a Credit Risk Analyst in the transport and distribution industry, you'll play a key part in assessing financial risks and ensuring strong credit control processes. Your day-to-day work will help the business maintain steady cash flow and minimise financial exposure.

\nDescription
\nOpening and renewing customer credit accounts having analysed the Experian reports and company accounts where necessary.
\nReviewing the '75% list' to check whether credit limits can be increased or early direct debits need to be taken.
\nHelping to oversee the customer account opening process and ensure customer account details are entered correctly.
\nAble to help and cover the sales ledger where required including:
\n- Daily transfer of supplier electronic data files into our computer system regarding fuel drawings.
\n- Problem solving for errors when carrying out the task above.
\n- Raising sales invoices for fuel drawings.
\n- Provide assisitance to the credit contoller - production of early invoices, taking direct debits as required and chasing debts.
\nReview accounts where we taken multiple early payments to consider what further action should be taken (increase limit, close account, request deposit).
\nOversee the bank reference process and help where required.
\nSpeak to customers where required to understand poor Experian reports or accounts and make judgement on whether to keep the account open.
\nLearn and provide cover for other functions within the department including the following epecially:
\n- Monthly payroll
\n- Fuel margin analysis
\n- Stock reconciliations (weekly and monthly)
\nAd-hoc accounts department tasks.
