\nA well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in accountancy while working towards a professional ACA or ACCA qualification within a supportive and progressive environment.

\nThe Role
\nAs a Graduate Trainee Accountant, you will receive structured training and mentorship while gaining exposure across accounts preparation, audit, tax and general practice work.
\nThis is a genuinely varied role designed to help you develop into a well-rounded accounting professional, providing insight into multiple areas of practice rather than specialising too early.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of businesses. \n
- Supporting audit assignments and fieldwork. \n
- Preparing personal and business tax returns. \n
- Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts. \n
- Preparing working papers and supporting schedules. \n
- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries. \n
- Supporting senior team members on a variety of client assignments. \n
- Developing knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation and audit procedures. \n
- Building professional relationships with clients and colleagues. \n
Previous accountancy practice experience is not required, although internships, placements or relevant work experience would be advantageous.
