Semi Senior Accountant

Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

£28,000–£35,000 per year (DOE)

We're looking for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join our expanding team in Leigh-on-Sea. If you have at least two years' experience working within an accountancy practice and are looking to progress your career in a supportive and professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll be involved in a wide range of accounting duties, including:

• Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
\n
• Nominal Ledger reconciliations
\n
• Payroll processing
\n
• CIS Returns
\n
• Assisting Senior Accountants with client accounts and general practice work
\n
• Supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
\n

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

\n
• At least 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
\n
• Good working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and other cloud accounting software
\n
• Experience with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Payroll and CIS Returns
\n
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
\n

• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
\n
• Experience working with a varied client portfolio
\n
