Whether you're an experienced Controls Engineer or a Maintenance Engineer with strong PLC experience looking to move off the tools, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer investing heavily in automation.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with PLC-controlled equipment and driving continuous improvement.

If you're already programming PLCs, great. If your experience is mainly PLC fault finding and modifications and you're looking to develop further; this could be for you.

Control Engineer / PLC

Working as part of the engineering team, you'll support automation projects, improve production processes and provide technical expertise across a modern manufacturing site. This is a Monday to Friday days role with a mixture of project work, system improvements and production support.

You'll be involved in

• PLC fault finding, modifications and system improvements
\n
• Supporting Allen Bradley control systems (Studio 5000)
\n
• Automation and continuous improvement projects
\n
• New equipment installation and commissioning
\n
• Supporting production and maintenance teams with technical issues
\n
• Working with external contractors on larger projects
\n

We'd like to hear from you if you have

\n
• Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery within manufacturing
\n
• Allen Bradley PLC experience would be ideal, although other PLC platforms will also be considered
\n
• Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience, or previous Controls Engineering experience
\n
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
\n
• HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification is advantageous but not essential
\n
