Controls Engineer / PLC Engineer (Training Available)

\nWhether you're an experienced Controls Engineer or a Maintenance Engineer with strong PLC experience looking to move off the tools, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer investing heavily in automation.
\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with PLC-controlled equipment and driving continuous improvement.
\nIf you're already programming PLCs, great. If your experience is mainly PLC fault finding and modifications and you're looking to develop further; this could be for you.
\nControl Engineer / PLC
\nWorking as part of the engineering team, you'll support automation projects, improve production processes and provide technical expertise across a modern manufacturing site. This is a Monday to Friday days role with a mixture of project work, system improvements and production support.
\nYou'll be involved in
\n- \n
- PLC fault finding, modifications and system improvements \n
- Supporting Allen Bradley control systems (Studio 5000) \n
- Automation and continuous improvement projects \n
- New equipment installation and commissioning \n
- Supporting production and maintenance teams with technical issues \n
- Working with external contractors on larger projects \n
We'd like to hear from you if you have
\n- \n
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery within manufacturing \n
- Allen Bradley PLC experience would be ideal, although other PLC platforms will also be considered \n
- Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience, or previous Controls Engineering experience \n
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement \n
- HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification is advantageous but not essential \n
