Data Administrator

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Data Administrator to join their leak detection and logging teambased in the Horsham area.The main purpose of the role is to review all data received from the underground logging equipment to detect any possible leaks or issues in the water network, to enable the field teams to locate and fix any issues.Benefits in the role of Data AdministratorCareer development opportunities in a leading sectorFull training provided Trainee Administrators will be consideredCompany pensionData Administrator responsibilities:To review all data received from the logging equipment and devices which are deployed in the field.Issue Noise Logging packs for Logging Technicians and SupervisorsAdhere to all required deadlines and timeframes for suspected leak investigation proceduresProduce follow up pack including all relevant information to support data investigationMaintain and update trackers and the inhouse systemLiaise with colleagues, including fellow Analysts to review targeting for Noise LoggingWork closely with the Logging Supervisor for the area to ensure that work completion reports are issued in a timely mannerLiaise with the Logging Technicians to support if needed and provide updatesAttend Logging meetings as requiredAttend and take part in training sessions as required.Work closely with Administrators for areaMaintain and update the asset list for areaTo raise any areas of concerns/improvement suggestions with Logging ManagerData Administrator requirements:A minimum of 2 years experience of working in an office environment.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Microsoft Excel).Understanding of best practices for data capture and managementGood problem-solving ability.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work alone and as part of the team to achieve targets is essential.If you are looking for a fantastic Data Administrator opportunity and want to work for a leading national contractor with opportunities to progress, then click on the 'apply now button.Due to the high volume of applications, we receive we are not always able to reply to all applications.
