With a strong focus on continuous improvement and collaboration, they offer an environment where finance professionals can make a genuine impact.The RoleAs Cost Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis and reporting across the UK operation. Working closely with both finance and manufacturing teams, you'll be responsible for monitoring production costs, analysing variances and providing valuable insights to support business performance and decision-making.Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and reviewing production cost activities for the Dumfries manufacturing site. \n
- Analysing production costs, variances and profitability trends. \n
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting and annual operating plan processes across Europe. \n
- Preparing financial reports and management information for key stakeholders. \n
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. \n
- Managing stock valuation updates and aged inventory reviews within SAP. \n
- Processing daily cash postings across UK and European entities. \n
- Partnering with operational teams to improve financial accuracy and drive efficiencies. \n
About YouYou will be an ambitious finance professional looking to develop your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You'll ideally have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline. \n
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, or equivalent experience. \n
- A minimum of two years' experience within finance, accounting or FP&A. \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence presenting financial information. \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous. \n
You'll also possess excellent attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, international business environment.What's on Offer
