Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Leeds

A leading legal services organisation is looking to recruit an Associate Solicitor to join its Commercial Litigation team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor seeking high-quality disputes work, exposure to a broad range of commercial matters and genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Joining an established litigation team, you will manage your own caseload while supporting Senior Solicitors on complex and high-value disputes. The role offers exposure to a varied range of commercial litigation matters and the opportunity to develop strong technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

This position would suit a Solicitor able to:

\n
• Manage and assist with a varied caseload of commercial disputes matters
\n
• Advise clients on a broad range of disputes, including contractual liability, property-related disputes, breach of directors' duties, trespass and nuisance claims
\n
• Support senior lawyers on complex and high-value litigation matters
\n
• Liaise with clients, opponents, courts, counsel and other stakeholders
\n
• Work within an insurance-funded litigation environment, including consideration of policy coverage issues where applicable
\n

This role would suit with the following experience:

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
\n
• Experience handling a range of commercial litigation matters
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of dispute resolution and litigation procedures
\n
• Experience within an insurance-funded litigation environment
\n
• Understanding of insurance policy coverage issues and claims handling
\n
• Experience using Salesforce or other case management systems
\n
