\nDescription
\nThe Legal Counsel Banking will be:
\n\n- \n
- Advising on bridge lending, banking and secured finance transactions. \n
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, guarantees, intercreditor agreements and ancillary finance documentation. \n
- Working on transactions from instruction through to completion, including funding and drawdown arrangements. \n
- Advising on transaction structuring and legal risk allocation. \n
- Providing commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders across Lending, Credit and Investment teams. \n
- Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks associated with lending transactions. \n
- Developing and maintaining lending documentation, legal precedents and internal processes. \n
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external advisers. \n
- Managing multiple complex matters while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and service delivery. \n
Profile
\nThe Legal Counsel Banking should be:
\n\n- \n
- A solicitor with at least 4 years PQE in banking and finance or secured lending. \n
- Experienced in advising on banking, specialist lending or other finance transactions. \n
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating finance documentation including facility agreements and security documents. \n
- Experienced in managing transactions from instruction through to completion. \n
- Commercially minded with excellent drafting, negotiation and legal analysis skills. \n
- Able to balance legal, regulatory and commercial considerations effectively. \n
- Confident managing relationships with clients and senior business stakeholders. \n
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a fast paced environment. \n
Job Offer
