Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Production Operatives to join Howmet Aerospace in Exeter, one of the world's leading aerospace manufacturers.

Key Duties

\n
• Pour and handle molten metal safely.
\n
• Move and process heavy castings.
\n
• Work in a high-temperature foundry environment.
\n
• Wear specialist PPE, including fire-resistant clothing.
\n
• Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures.
\n
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
\n
• Work as part of a skilled team producing world-class aerospace components.
\n

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday rotating shifts:

• 6:00am - 1:30pm
\n
• 1:00pm - 8:30pm
\n
• 8:30pm - 6:00am(includes 3 hours guaranteed overtime each night)

Requirements

\n
• Enjoy practical, hands-on work.
\n
• Good physical stamina and comfortable with manual handling.
\n
• Ability to work safely in a hot industrial environment.
\n
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
\n
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
\n
• Flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.
\n
• Previous manufacturing or foundry experience is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
\n
