Management Accountant | Harrogate Hybrid | £40,000 + Study Support + Excellent BenefitsAxon Moore is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, private equity-backed business based in Harrogate.Following significant growth through both acquisition and organic expansion, the finance team is continuing to evolve, creating an exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join the business. This is an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience in a commercially focused environment, gaining exposure across group reporting, business partnering and finance transformation.Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the management accounts for a number of entities while supporting wider group reporting, budgeting and continuous improvement projects. This is a broad role offering excellent exposure and genuine career progression.Key responsibilities: \n

- Producing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. \n
- Delivering meaningful variance analysis and performance commentary. \n
- Supporting the production of consolidated group reporting and board reporting packs. \n
- Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge. \n
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis. \n
- Preparing VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations. \n
- Supporting cash flow forecasting, year-end audit and financial compliance. \n
- Reviewing and improving finance processes and internal controls \n
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses. \n
- \n
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. \n
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts. \n
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Look-ups and working with large data sets. \n
- Experience working within an ERP system. \n
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work closely with non-finance stakeholders. \n
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive to improve processes. \n
- \n
- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience. \n
