An established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA-qualified auditor who enjoys managing client relationships, leading audit assignments and developing team members, while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

- Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across a range of industries and business sizes. \n
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high professional standard. \n
- Work closely with senior leadership, providing support on complex engagements and contributing to the successful delivery of client projects. \n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and first point of contact. \n
- Review audit files and provide guidance and support to junior members of the team. \n
- Assist with wider accounts and business advisory work where required. \n
- Monitor project progress, manage deadlines and ensure resources are effectively allocated. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve client service and contribute to the ongoing development of the audit function. \n
- Support the continued development of junior staff through mentoring and technical coaching. \n
About You

- ACA qualified with a strong background in external audit gained within an accountancy practice. \n
- Significant experience managing audit assignments and overseeing a varied client portfolio. \n
- Confident building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their commercial objectives. \n
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience supervising and developing team members. \n
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. \n
- Previous exposure to accounts preparation or wider general practice work would be beneficial. \n
