Regulatory Solicitor

Regulatory Solicitor (1-6 years') Are you looking to develop your career within a highly regarded disputes practice specialising in regulatory, compliance and investigations work?

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor/senior solicitor (1-6 PQE) to join a leading firm, advising a broad range of commercial and public sector clients on complex and high-profile regulatory matters.

The Role

You'll work on a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload, advising clients on matters including:

• Regulatory and compliance issues
\n
• Corporate crime and investigations
\n
• Financial crime
\n
• Anti-bribery and corruption
\n
• Environmental and health & safety matters
\n
• Judicial reviews and statutory appeals
\n
• Public inquiries
\n

You'll be involved in drafting legal advice, conducting investigations, preparing cases for court and tribunal proceedings, liaising with regulators and building strong client relationships. There will also be opportunities to develop advocacy skills and contribute to business development initiatives.

About You

\n
• Between 1-6 years' PQE
\n
• A genuine interest in regulatory, compliance and investigations work
\n
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
\n
• Experience managing your own caseload and building client relationships
\n
• Knowledge of Sheriff Court and/or Court of Session procedure (advantageous but not essential)
\n
• An interest in advocacy would also be beneficial, although not essential
\n

Previous experience in regulatory or corporate crime work is welcomed, but applications are equally encouraged from solicitors with a disputes background who are looking to specialise in this growing area.On Offer
