Audit Senior

The Role

As an Audit Senior Associate, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers, partners and clients to deliver a high-quality service.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.
\n
• Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing excellent service.
\n
• Managing audit fieldwork, reviewing work and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
\n
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards.
\n
• Working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audit and advisory services.
\n
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members throughout audit assignments.
\n
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and team initiatives.
\n
• Becoming involved in wider advisory and project work where opportunities arise.
\n
• Managing a portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen relationships.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

\n
• ACA, ACCA or CA qualification.
\n
• Previous experience leading audit assignments within an accountancy practice.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
\n
• Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
\n
• Knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 would be advantageous.
\n
• Experience working with consolidated accounts would be beneficial.
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
\n
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
\n
• Experience using audit and accounts software would be advantageous.
\n
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial, as some travel to client sites may be required.
\n
