\nThe Role
\nAs an Audit Senior Associate, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers, partners and clients to deliver a high-quality service.
\nResponsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients. \n
- Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing excellent service. \n
- Managing audit fieldwork, reviewing work and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. \n
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards. \n
- Working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audit and advisory services. \n
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members throughout audit assignments. \n
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and team initiatives. \n
- Becoming involved in wider advisory and project work where opportunities arise. \n
- Managing a portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen relationships. \n
About You
\nWe're looking for someone who has:
\n- \n
- ACA, ACCA or CA qualification. \n
- Previous experience leading audit assignments within an accountancy practice. \n
- Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards. \n
- Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts. \n
- Knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 would be advantageous. \n
- Experience working with consolidated accounts would be beneficial. \n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. \n
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. \n
- Experience using audit and accounts software would be advantageous. \n
- A full UK driving licence would be beneficial, as some travel to client sites may be required. \n
