Conveyancing Paralegal Leicester | Full Time | £25,000 - £30,000 DOE SJC Partners is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm in Leicester as they look to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their growing Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative firm where you'll work alongside experienced conveyancers, gain exposure to a varied caseload, and continue developing your career within residential property. The Role Working closely with experienced fee earners, you will play a key role in progressing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion. Responsibilities will include:\n

• Assisting with a busy caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
\n
• Opening new files and completing AML and compliance checks.
\n
• Preparing draft contract packs and legal documentation.
\n
• Ordering and reviewing searches.
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
\n
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
\n
• Preparing files for exchange and completion.
\n
• Completing Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and post-completion formalities.
\n
• Delivering an excellent level of client care throughout the transaction.
\n

About You To be considered, you must:\n

\n
• Have previous experience working within a Residential Conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant.
\n
• Have a solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
\n
• Be confident managing your own workload and supporting fee earners with minimal supervision.
\n
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Be looking to build a long-term career within Residential Conveyancing.
\n
