Your responsibilities as Accounts Assistant\n

\n
• Process supplier invoices, matching them against purchase orders and goods received notes
\n
• Resolve invoice queries, supplier discrepancies and maintain accurate supplier records
\n
• Support month-end activities including accruals, reconciliations and reporting
\n
• Complete GRNI reconciliations and investigate outstanding balances
\n
• Assist with weekly payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations and aged creditor management
\n
• Maintain accurate financial records, strong audit trails and support year-end audit requirements
\n

What we’re looking for in a Accounts Assistant\n

\n
• Previous experience within Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or a broader finance position
\n
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations and supplier account management
\n
• Ability to investigate financial discrepancies and resolve queries efficiently
\n
• Good organisational skills with a high level of accuracy when handling financial data
\n
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
\n
