We're now looking for a Site Services Manager to join our Engineering team at our Lifton site, playing a critical role in ensuring our utilities, infrastructure and site services operate safely, efficiently and compliantly to support our manufacturing operation.

About the role\n

As Site Services Manager, you'll lead the site services function, ensuring the reliable delivery of critical utilities and infrastructure across the site. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Technical, Health & Safety and external partners, you'll drive performance, manage risk and support continuous improvement initiatives that keep the site running effectively.

What you'll be doing\n

  • Leading the safe, compliant and efficient operation of site utilities and infrastructure, including steam, refrigeration, compressed air, water systems, HVAC, fire systems, drainage and grounds.
  • \n
  • Managing the performance of the site's effluent treatment plant and ensuring environmental compliance.
  • \n
  • Acting as the designated duty holder or responsible person for specific systems where appointed.
  • \n
  • Developing and delivering maintenance, asset care and resilience plans for critical services equipment.
  • \n
  • Leading, coaching and developing the Site Services team while managing specialist contractors and service providers.
  • \n
  • Owning departmental budgets, forecasts and cost control activities.
  • \n
  • Monitoring utility usage, environmental performance, maintenance effectiveness and site condition.
  • \n
  • Working collaboratively across functions to manage risk and drive continuous improvement.
  • \n
What we're looking for\n
    \n
  • Proven leadership experience within Site Services, Utilities, Facilities Engineering or a similar technical function within manufacturing.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of industrial utilities such as steam, refrigeration, pressure systems, compressed air, water treatment or effluent management.
  • \n
  • Experience managing statutory compliance, environmental requirements and contractor control.
  • \n
  • A track record of delivering maintenance strategies, managing budgets and improving operational performance.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • \n
  • A proactive, hands-on and collaborative leadership style.

Working arrangements\n

This is a site-based, weekday role. Some flexibility will be required to support planned shutdowns and participate in out-of-hours escalation arrangements where necessary.
