\nOur client is a growing organisation in Sutton-in-Ashfield who are looking to add a Management Accountant (Qualified, QBE or Part Qualified) to their team.
\nThis role entails EU Trading and is essential experience for this Management Accountant position.

- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. \n
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments. \n
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making. \n
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. \n
- Manage cash flow, ensuring optimal allocation of financial resources. \n
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors. \n
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets. \n
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members as needed. \n
Profile
\nA successful Management Accountant (Senior) should have:
\n- \n
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be QBE or Part Qualified (actively studying) \n
- Experience with EU Trading. \n
- Understand EU Tax regulations. \n
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in financial reporting and analysis. \n
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. \n
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data. \n
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. \n
- A proactive and organised approach to meeting deadlines. \n
Job Offer

- A salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience. \n
