\nHours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday,
\nMust be able to work rotating shift patterns below:

- Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm \n
- Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm \n
- Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am \n

\nHRGO Recruitment are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our client's busy manufacturing site based in Bognor Regis.
\nOur client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business. They are a market leader within their industry, producing high-quality products for a wide range of customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to support the Production Manager in driving operational performance within a fast-paced production environment.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Ensure production is working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and jobs are completed in the correct sequence. \n
- Provide strong leadership by setting an example and allocating resources effectively. \n
- Support the Production Manager in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). \n
- Monitor daily production output, with an expected shift performance of approximately 4,600 units per day. \n
- Carry out production system and report checks. \n
- Complete daily safety inspections and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time. \n
- Ensure all employees wear the correct PPE and comply with Health & Safety procedures. \n
- Support and monitor staff training, identifying additional training requirements where necessary. \n
- Report machine breakdowns and quality issues using the appropriate reporting procedures. \n
- Capture and report production figures, including units/metres produced and work-in-progress performance. \n
- Ensure effective and accurate shift handovers. \n
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area. \n
- Assist with planned maintenance programmes. \n
- Maintain weekly rotas on a week-plus-one basis. \n
- Administer absence and sickness records, reporting to the Production Manager and HR where required. \n
- Deliver inductions and assist with employee training schedules. \n
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the continued development of the site. \n

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role. \n
- Strong leadership and people management skills. \n
- IT literate \n
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. \n
- Proactive, reliable and able to use initiative. \n
