An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator & Sliding Head Setter Operator to join a well-established company! Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: Competitive Salary, Negotiable Depending on Experience. Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV2. About The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced machinists to join one of the UK's leading award-winning manufacturers of high-quality special fasteners. Due to continued growth and expansion, we currently have two positions available: * CNC Programmer Setter Operator * Sliding Head Machine Setter Operator Key Responsibilities: * Programming, setting and operating CNC or sliding head machines. * Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. * Working from engineering drawings and specifications. * Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods. * Adjusting and optimising existing programmes. * Creating programmes for new jobs. * Conducting self-inspection and quality checks throughout production runs. * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality. * Working effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative. * Operating different machines as required by production demands. Essential Requirements Applicants must have: * Previous experience in CNC programming, setting and operating, or sliding head machine setting and operation. * Experience using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, calipers and gauges. * The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, particularly for turned and threaded components. * A strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
