People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and customer-focused drivers to join a busy catering distribution business.

You'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately and on time.

This role would be suitable for applicants with experience as a Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or 3.5 Tonne Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour
\n

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
\n
• 07:00 - 15:00
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Driver are:

\n
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to catering and hospitality customers
\n
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
\n
• Checking orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
\n
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
\n
• Adhering to all road traffic laws and company procedures
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

\n
• A full UK Category B driving licence
\n
• Previous multi-drop driving experience
\n
• Good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
• Good time management and organisational skills
\n
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
\n
• Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload deliveries
\n

Training:

• Full training and ongoing support will be provided
\n
