Financial Accountant

Currently supporting a growing, London based Energy company looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Reporting to the FC, the role will support the finance team and take responsibility to day to day finance operations.

Currently supporting a growing, London based Energy company looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Reporting to the FC, the role will support the finance team and take responsibility to day to day finance operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining general ledger for UK and Europe
\n
• Leading month end close process
\n
• Preparing balance reconciliations
\n
• Overseeing daily finance operations including journal postings
\n
• Analysing appropriate accounting treatments under IFRS
\n
• Supporting audit process
\n
• Identifying process improvements and controls
\n
• Ad hoc duties
\n

The Candidate:

\n
• Practice trained accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
\n
• Strong technical accounting skills including bookkeeping experience and IFRS (9,16)
\n
• Hands on end to end accounting processes experience
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Advanced excel skills
\n
