Audit Semi-Senior Responsibilities:

• Assisting with audit assignments from initial planning through to completion.
\n
• Completing audit testing across a range of financial statement areas.
\n
• Preparing accurate and well-documented audit working papers.
\n
• Identifying potential audit issues and discussing these with senior colleagues.
\n
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
\n
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts.
\n
• Working closely with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners.
\n
• Helping to guide and support more junior members of the audit team.
\n
• Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
\n
• Developing your technical knowledge through practical experience and professional studies.
\n

Audit Semi-Senior Attributes:

• Previous external audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
\n
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.
\n
• Experience assisting with audit assignments across different stages of the audit cycle.
\n
• A good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards.
\n
• Confident communicating with clients and working as part of an audit team.
\n
• Organised and able to manage competing assignments and deadlines.
\n
• Comfortable using audit and accounting software.
\n
• Keen to develop technically and progress into an Audit Senior position.
\n
