Location: Severnfields & Langley School – Telford

Pay: £25 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00 – 17:00

What You’ll Do

\n
• Deliver high standards of care to children and young people referred to the service
\n
• Act as a shift coordinator, triaging referrals (urgent, crisis, routine)
\n
• Handle calls from professionals, parents, and guardians regarding mental health concerns
\n
• Conduct face-to-face urgent and routine assessments
\n
• Present cases and outcomes in daily MDT meetings
\n
• Identify appropriate treatment plans, interventions, or discharge pathways
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality documentation
\n
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students
\n
• Work within the Thrive Model and service operational framework
\n

Requirements

\n
• Active NMC registration (RGN)
\n
• Proven Band 6 experience in community or mental health settings
\n
• Experience in assessment, triage, and risk management
\n
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
\n
• Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance
\n
• Available to start ASAP
