Job Description
We are looking for a Clinical Registered Manager to join our nursing home and lead a team of 60 dedicated and caring staff. The successful applicant will have at least 3 years of experience of managing a nursing home. Essential Skills.
\n- \n
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a valid NMC registration. \n
- Proven experience in a Registered Manager role. \n
- Minimum 3-year within a nursing home setting. \n
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and safeguarding requirements. \n
- Passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care. \n
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire teams. \n
- Confident in managing clinical performance, quality standards and regulatory compliance. \n
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. \n
Responsibilities

- Leading the day-to-day management of the nursing home and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. \n
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and all relevant legislation. \n
- Overseeing clinical governance, audits, risk management and quality assurance processes. \n
- Managing staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance. \n
- Ensuring safe medication management and effective clinical practices throughout the home. \n
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. \n
- Monitoring occupancy, quality outcomes and service performance to support the home's success. \n
- Investigating incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, implementing actions to improve services. \n
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive culture for both residents and colleagues. \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve the highest standards of care and resident wellbeing. \n
- Participating in the on-call rota and providing leadership during emergencies or operational challenges. \n
- Managing occupancy, staffing, budgets and clinical governance \n
