Credit Controller / Billings Controller | London | Dynamic Media Co Publishing | £40-50,000 + benefits

This dynamic International Media and Communications business in London is looking to hire an experienced Credit Controller / Billings Controller to be solely responsible for managing the end-to-end, collections, billing and receivables processes across all entities within the group. Key tasks include:

• End-to-end management of invoicing and receivables

• Proactively follow up on overdue balances and resolve disputes.
\n
• Accurate and timely billing aligned with project delivery and contracts
\n
• Effective cashflow forecasting and reporting support
\n
• Process optimisation and automation across AR and billing systems.
\n
• Maintain AR ageing reports and debtor analysis
\n
• Oversee preparation and issuance of client invoices across all regions.
\n
• Ensure billing aligns with project milestones, contracts, and revenue recognition policies. Maintain invoice accuracy and approval workflows.
\n
• Cashflow & Reporting Support weekly cashflow forecasting and working capital reports.
\n
• Provide accurate visibility of AR collections and expected receipts.
\n
• Partner with the Financial Controller to identify cash risks or opportunities
\n
• Collaborate with client leads to ensure financial alignment and timely payment cycles. Escalate key client credit issues early, ensuring commercial awareness and reputational protection.

• Collaboration with the CFO and Financial Controller, Project Managers, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure billing accuracy
\n
• The Senior Credit Controller / Billings Controller role ensures the timely and accurate generation of client invoices, effective management of outstanding debt, and proactive cashflow support to the Financial Controller and CFO.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Credit Controller with strong Billings exposure and strong debtor management discipline. You will have a strong background in a project based business where you have added value.

This is a newly created position which will play a critical part in maintaining strong working capital discipline and client financial relationships. It requires both operational rigour and strategic process improvement to drive billing efficiency, cash conversion, and reporting accuracy across global regions.
