The Role
\nOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a Buy-To-Let Property Lawyer for their Cardiff office. In this role you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients investing in rental properties. Reporting to the Head of Department and Partners, the position combines client-facing consultancy with case management.
\nYou will manage an allocated caseload, ensure timely billing, and contribute to business development through cross-selling opportunities.
\nResponsibilities within this role will include:
\nManage an agreed caseload of buy-to-let property clients, delivering advice in line with professional standards.
\nProcess cases efficiently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
\nEnsure prompt billing and diligent collection of outstanding balances.
\nDevelop and maintain strong client and commercial relationships.
\nExpand the firms client base through effective relationship management.
\nAchieve individual new-business, financial, and completion targets.
\nIdentify cross-selling opportunities to maximise the firms service offering.
\nUse firm procedures and systems to manage cases compliantly and effectively.
\nAllocate your own workload while maintaining high productivity and quality with minimal supervision.
\nThe Person
\nThe ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
\nRelevant degree or equivalent, with post-graduate qualification(s).
\nQualified Solicitor, or comparable experience in commercial property law.
\nProven track record in client management and fee-earning within commercial property.
\nRecent experience handling client enquiries face-to-face and by telephone.
\nThe Salary
\nCompetitive salary, depending on experience, with a firm-wide bonus scheme.
\nThe Hours
\nFull-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

\nCardiff office, with office-based work.
