HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – FALKIRK & GRANGEMOUTH

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to support multiple clients based across Falkirk and Grangemouth.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for varied work, including multi-drop deliveries, pallet work, and local distribution.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

 • Monday to Sunday work available
\n  • Dayshift and nightshift options
\n  • Flexible start times depending on assignment

Rates of Pay:

 • Dayshift: £15.25 per hour (first 8 hours between 6am – 6pm)
\n  • Nightshift: £16.25 per hour (first 8 hours between 6pm – 6am)
\n  • Overtime 1: £17.50 per hour (after 8 hours Monday – Friday and all Saturday hours)
\n  • Overtime 2: £18.50 per hour (all Sunday and Bank Holiday hours)

 • Rates may vary depending on the assignment

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver will include:

 • Multi-drop and local deliveries
\n  • Loading and unloading goods
\n  • Completing delivery paperwork
\n  • Vehicle checks and compliance
\n  • Providing good customer service

Essential Skills:

The essential skills required to be an HGV Class 2 Driver are:

 • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n  • Physically fit and able to assist with manual handling
\n  • Reliable and flexible approach to work
\n  • Good communication skills

Desirable Experience:

 • Previous experience in multi-drop, pallet, or local distribution work is advantageous

Training Provided:

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
