Our organization is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Critical Care Physician to become part of a well-established and high-achieving team as a Nocturnist. This position provides a chance to work in a collaborative setting with strong specialty support while delivering advanced, patient-focused care within an expanding healthcare system.

Job Opportunity Overview
  • Become a member of a close-knit group consisting of 14 Physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Work on a 7/7 schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • No outpatient clinic duties required.
  • Access to 24/7 APP support.
  • Main location: MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center with 67 ICU/CCU beds.
  • Secondary location: MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center with 7 ICU beds.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $578,340.
  • Recruitment bonus: $75,000.
  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance: $6,000.
