Our organization is looking for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing range of services within the Department of Pathology at our medical school.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic expertise on surgical specimens.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists.
• Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers at the cancer center.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Must obtain a medical license in Illinois.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
• A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that processes approximately 35,000 surgical specimens each year.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
