- Ability to follow classroom management techniques as directed by the supervising teacher
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant certifications preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and individual education programs
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce lessons and foster comprehension
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment through encouragement and respectful interactions
- Support students with personal care needs as necessary
- Adapt instructional activities and materials under teacher guidance
- Document student progress and communicate observations to appropriate staff
