Hematology/Oncology Opportunity

Our organization is in search of a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our newly established Cancer Center in Wheaton, Maryland. This modern facility is conveniently located within walking distance of a metro station, providing easy access to Washington, DC, and is equipped with state-of-the-art radiation technology.

The responsibilities for the Board Certified/Board Eligible physician will encompass both inpatient and outpatient consultations across various disciplines. The role involves developing and administering treatment plans for all types of cancer. For cases that necessitate advanced care, we will utilize our tertiary care centers, which are also equipped with cutting-edge radiation technology.

The Physician will deliver licensed medical care, which includes diagnosing and treating patients (including surgical and pre/post-surgical care when necessary) within the Cancer Center. Responsibilities also include case management and engaging in clinical research as appropriate. The ideal candidate must be adept at handling complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. Proficiency in technical, clinical, and surgical skills (when applicable), along with strong cognitive and interpersonal abilities, is essential for effectively serving our patients. The Physician is expected to adhere to the established standards of practice, policies, and protocols of the Medical Center, while supporting the mission of our organization.
