Gynecologic Oncology Opportunity

Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho.

We are a physician-led multi-specialty group with over 650 providers, seeking a dedicated gynecologic oncologist who values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This comprehensive gynecologic oncology practice consists of two physicians and one physician assistant and is part of a dynamic Women's Health Services Program and Women's Specialty Center.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, compassionate care aimed at healing the body, mind, and spirit. A strong passion for women's health issues, along with a solid surgical background, including training and/or experience in both traditional open and minimally invasive techniques (such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery), is essential. This position is based at our Boise campus and will involve outreach opportunities to enhance our expanding Women's Health Specialty Services across the regionally integrated health system.

Support for this role includes access to two da Vinci XI robots, reconstructive surgery capabilities, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, and RN navigation throughout the treatment process.

The work schedule is a traditional clinic week, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility in coordination with partners and the operating room. Call duties are shared equally among eligible providers, with a 1:2 rotation and every third weekend being first call to the Advanced Practice Provider, supported by a physician.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program, and have completed a fellowship training program in gynecologic oncology accredited by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Board certification and subspecialty certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is required, or candidates must obtain these certifications within three years of employment. Additionally, candidates must hold an unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon, allowing practice across a multi-state network, and must secure privileges at our Boise facility, SAMC-Nampa, and other affiliated hospitals as necessary. A valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho and Oregon Boards of Pharmacy and the DEA is also required, along with training and experience in conventional open surgical techniques and strong minimally invasive surgical skills.
