Job Description

Job Description

Our organization is a multi-specialty group practice with over 500 providers, presenting a remarkable opportunity for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to become part of a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho.

The chosen candidate will collaborate with two MFM specialists, a genetic counselor, and five sonographers in Boise, while also providing coverage in Nampa. The Labor and Delivery (L&D) rounds are multidisciplinary, involving MFM, OB Hospitalists, L&D Unit Coordinators, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and frequently nursing and pharmacy students.

The work schedule is standard, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 32 hours dedicated to patient interaction each week. The call schedule is consultative, including weekends, with a rotation of 1:2 or 1:3, shared equally among the provider team. There are no in-house calls or deliveries required.

Support services include a Level III+ NICU that offers 24-hour specialized care for premature and high-risk infants, whether delivered at our facility or transferred to the NICU, as well as for critically ill full-term infants. Additional on-site services include Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and 24-hour coverage for Anesthesia, Radiology, and Emergency Medicine. The on-campus OB/GYN clinic features 20 providers, complemented by a community network of employed and allied primary and specialty care clinics. We utilize the View Point Perinatal Ultrasound Reporting System and EPIC EMR for our operations.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
  • Board Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
